Bound by Steel--print release and contest

I'm running a release day poetry contest over at my blog. Up for grabs is a signed copy (or two?) of aforementioned f/f/m poly erotic fantasy romance (now that's a cross-genre mouthful).

Funny, succinct, profound, boneheaded, whatever you do, it's all good. Hell, borrow a Shakespeare sonnet and bastardize it, just indulge my yearning for cheesy poetry and I'll be happy. Leave your entry in the comments of my blog post, enter as many times as you like.
To read an excerpt and some review snippets of the book, click here.

  1. There once was a fe/male swordsman
Who fought to avenge her wife's execution
    First she met Gil
    then wanted Kaela as well
    And now they're a happy three-some.

    Stupid, I know. LOL

I have your book so don't enter me.

To all who read this post who haven't gotten this book, you are really missing out on a juicy hot fun story with yummy f/f/m smexing.

  2. That wasn't half bad, Leah. And as far as I'm concerned, free form poetry would be fine. Anything. I'm not declaring a winner until there's at least one entry. :P

  3. OK...LOL, I must try. The proffered prize is too irresistible.

    Can you not love sweet?
    Not ev'ry battle is won
    with the best sword arm...

    Vanquish jealousy
    Why deceive longing with convention?
    Better to love both...

    Conquer your hero
    Claim the maiden's silken thighs
    Cherish'd days return...

  4. Oh God, sorry, I didn't read the blog post. I wasn't going for "cheesy", I was working on "swooney." Is it all right?

  5. Um, Mia? I am so hot for you right now. LOL

Yes, profound and sweet is okay (in fact, I'm impressed). I just figured I'd push the cheese factor because most people do cheesy better than they do deep, and they find it less intimidating.

But dang, those were nice. :)

    Oh Yay! : )

Actually I don't deserve your compliments. I'm cramming away for finals this week and I'd do lots more than write poetry for more stimulating reading than colonial history and business law.

I sent you that article about indigo cultivation? That was one of many....*sniffles and gets teary-eyed* ALL SUMMER TOO!
