I'm so excited! I've read some of Cathy's stories on her website and love the way she writes. So I'm very happy that she got published. And with a f/f to boot!
Currently there's no link yet, but RULEBREAKER is coming out this Aug. So put it on your calenders.
Here's her gorgeous new cover:
Tentative Blurb:
Liv Braxton, a small-time thief stuck on a backwater planet, takes on the gig of a lifetime filling in as executive assistant at Exeter Mining Company. Her job is to download incriminating files, but Liv finds herself unexpectedly torn when she falls for Zia Talbot, the beautiful and alluring VP she is supposed to betray.
Thanks for the pimpage, Leah!
ReplyDeleteHaving you and the LVLM blog to turn to really helped get Rulebreaker off the ground. If I hadn't found such great information on f/f books and authors, I don't think I would have been confident enough to continue writing and submitting it. Thank you so, so much. I hope you enjoy the story : )
Hey Cathy, well I hope it's a best seller! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's going to be good.
And congrats for being the first author to get a f/f accepted by Carina.
Thanks! I hope it's a best seller too :)

Actually, it's not. There is an urban fantasy coming out in June that is f/f Last Car to Anwnn Station. Being more UF, I don't know how far the romance goes, but it looks like a good story.

ReplyDeleteHeh, I'm an idiot who's lost my mind. So good I'm not doing reviews, who knows what the hell I'd type. In case you read deleted post.
ReplyDeleteI blame it on the fact that my Excel class and doing days worth of functions and formulas has fried my brain. Need a mental break.
I meant, What an honor!
Since Carina Press has taken its time getting an f/f or lesbian book out.
Congrats to Cathy!! I'm looking forward to reading this one.
ReplyDeleteLeah, I was both excited about and dreading the idea of being Carina's first f/f, so in a way I'm glad the pressure is off :) Still, I think mine has more romance ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jill. I hope you enjoy it! (Esp if you do a review here or on DA! :)
